"Home is where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in."

I'm still alive.  But, to use Leah's words, I have been feeling like fried a**.  First, we had an interlude of antibiotic-induced projectile vomiting that lasted for 24 straight hours, then I ran out of IV fluids and the home healthcare people lost their brains and took 5 days to get me new baga, then it didn't really matter because after just one new bag, my IV got pulled out and all the King's horses and all the King's men could not put an IV into me again, then I traveled on the SS Constipation (motto: "This ship don't move") for about a week.  Oh, and John Dear lost his job again.  Life has not been pretty.

We have now been living with my parents for 2 whole weeks.  That's the only part that's been going well.

Oh no. I've been thinking about you. Wish things were better. Though glad your able to be with your parents and they're taking good care of you. I never dealt with the nausea that you have, but constipation really sucks. I know it probably won't help now, but if you can ever hold it down I have two words for you... Bran Buds. Seriously, when I was in the hospital I had my husband bring them for me and I had some EVERY day for breakfast -- things weren't actually easy, but it kept things moving.

Hope the fried a** feeling is gone real soon.

Oh Jendeis! What an ordeal! I was literally thinking of you this very night and I'm so glad you updated, but I'm really sorry to hear things are going so roughly. I'm sending healing and loving thoughts your way. And if you can stomach it, acidophilus capsules help me quite a bit when things are not moving. More a maintenance thing than a cure, but anyway. xoxo hope you're feeling better soon and your folks are taking very good care of you.

Holy fried ass, Batman. That's a tale of woe. You win the prize for The Most Shitty Week Ever (or no-shit as your bowels have seemingly gone on strike).

I hope you somehow, magically feel better, that the health professionals involved in your care take their heads out of their own collective fried asses, that the poop starts flowing, the the vomit does not, and that JD gets a job.

And to think I was complaining about a piece of popcorn stuck in my teeth for two days. I've got it in perspective now, I'm a whiny loser.

you have been on my mind and I am sorry to hear about all the chaos swirling around you. But glad that you are in a place where (hopefully!) you are being pampered like a pretty, pretty princess.
