First chance I've gotten to get online. We're still alive and doing relatively well. These first few days have been a muddled nightmare of sleeplessness, hormones, bossy in-laws and emotional breakdowns due to said sleeplessness, hormones, and bossy in-laws, etc. Hoping we'll eventually get it together.

It gets better. It really does. Little by little. Slowly. But better. :-) Promise :0)
{{HUGS}} Thanks for checking in! Rest up and we will be here when you get back.
Glad to know you're surviving...that's all that can be expected the first few weeks.
Thinking of you guys!
Thinking of you Jen!
Oh, you will. It just takes time. The gravity of being completely responsible for another human being really hits you hard. And then there's the total lack of sleep. But here's the crazy thing... all those dang babies DO is sleep, so why in the heck are we so sleep-deprived? One of life's greatest mysteries. And ah, the hormones. That's how I was initially introduced to Zoloft.
Get your in-laws out of there. Now. Then immediately take a nap. When you get up, please post some pictures of your little dude. We are so excited to meet him!
The good news is that the fog really starts to lift around 6 - 8 weeks. The bad news is that you have to somehow live through those first 2 months to get there...

For what it's worth, the first night we had Ben home I sobbed half the night. Hope it gets better (and really it will!)
Congrats again.
It may not feel like it, but you will. I promise. *smishes*
thinking of you!!!
xoxo
Sending you lots of love. Love the picture.
I think blogger ate my comment :( Just know it does get better, I promise!! Lots of love to you! xoxo
Ah, yes. I'd forgotten about the bossy in-laws in the mix. They certainly don't help the sleepless, hormonal mess!
Congratulations, I am so very happy for you.
HUGS!
Hey, don't forget to collect your cookbook prize! For when you have time to cook. . .enjoy and Chanukah sameach, and feel free to send nursing questions my way.
Just thinking of you these days and hoping all is well with you and babe. Not expecting an update or anything - just letting you know that I'm wishing you restful nights, peaceful days, and everything good.
I hope all is well!! I miss hearing from you sweetie. I am about to send in a search party!!
Thanks for your comment on Eco-novice! I see you have not posted in a while, but I love this post. That's just what it has been like for me after having a baby, with a little blissful baby-gazing now and then too.
