And...we're clear

Had my HSG (radioactive dye up the hoo-hoo and they take pictures) this morning and everything looks great. No pain, just some minor cramping during the procedure. No problems with the lady bits. Told 'em. :P

Issue: salmon pink patient gowns. Are you kidding me here? Very unflattering color. You're already in an extremely vulnerable position, why don't they pick a better color? It's these little things that go a long way. Was going to suggest black, as very slimming, but maybe too many negative associations. How 'bout navy? Everyone looks good in navy!

Lol, I have a problem with those paper cover-ups too and yes they are pink here as well!!

I always get a pukie gray colored one, so I now refuse to wear them, and just wear a skirt with nothing under (TMI, I know). I just can't put those things on and feel human

Glad to hear your lady bits are all in working order!
Well, at least they aren't taking *pictures* of you in this most unflattering color...

The paper ones are the worst. The last time I wore one of those, it completely ripped off me by the end and I was totally naked.

I had mine last month. It was uncomfortable but not painful. I think I was still a bit traumatized from the stillbirth though - I hated every moment of the procedure and couldn't even look up at the screen to see my insides. Didn't help that halfway through the technician asked if I had any children. Idiot - how many women come to have an HSG who don't have reproductive problems.

pink? Really? Ew. Sorry about that.

But glad you hear your lady bits are in order and you were able to suss that out with minimal discomfort. Did I mention I passed out during mine?

Hey, thanks for your crossed fingers. Will keep you posted....

YAY for the all clear!!!

Salmon, huh? Mine were plain white but I guess I can't complain! I like light pink but salmon washes me out. I'm too pale :)

Jeez, why salmon? I agree, navy is far more flattering.

Yay for clear tubes! I was already smiling before the doctor gave his verdict cause I saw the spillage out my tubes. Never have I been so happy while my cervix was being pinched with a foot-long pair of forceps. Well, that was the only time that happened, but still.

I"m so glad to hear the test went well with clear results! Our gowns are greyish-white from being used so many times, with faded little patterns of something on them, that we have never been able to identify.

Salmon is just one of those completely insipid colours. Does nothing for anything, really.

More importantly, glad to hear the girly bits are working,

Maybe we could start a business... More flattering gowns for RE/OB offices. I might just stick to the idea of wearing a skirt to my appointments so I don't have to de-pants.
