Support

Thank you so much for all of the support you've given me over the last few days.  This negative was tremendously disappointing, given all of the symptoms I had been experiencing and the fact that I was not on Prometrium to give me false hope.

When I got my period on Friday, it was the full flow, there was no mistaking this for implantation spotting, and that has continued over the past few days.  It's obviously the real deal.

My nurse was wonderful and suggested that I have a follow-up appointment with my RE, in order to decide what's next.  In the meantime, we'll do another natural cycle.  I'm concerned about what the next step might be.  If it's IVF, I've got a ton of weight to lose in order to get down to my clinic's limits.  My nurse suggested we might do stimulated IUIs though, and I'm at the right weight for that.

Inspired by Mel and some of the other bloggers, I went and ordered the Wii and the Wii Fit Plus on Amazon.  The Wii came last week, and I'm hoping to receive the Fit part today (right in time for me to go away on a business trip early tomorrow).

I'm hoping to increase my activity (from zero to something) and I'm working with a fertility nutritionist on my food plan.  More on that soon.

This weekend, I went out with family and BFF, got my hair done, and laughed myself silly at a TOOTPU brunch.  I also prepared to send out almost over $9,000 in claims to my insurance for stuff for which I paid out-of-pocket.  Here's hoping!

It was so nice to see your smiling face in the pics that Mel posted. I loved the Wii and WiiFit when I had them (left it behind when I got out of Dodge). Here's hoping for good news really soon!

Oooohhhh, I am SO super jealous. A wii! And a wii fit! I have been dying for one (hubby keeps telling me no!)

Once it gets a teeny bit warmer, I'd make a pact to go walking with you at lunch if you want :)

I'm still so sorry that this cycle didn't work out for you. But I think it's really great that you're getting the Wii and putting forth that effort to excersize regularly. Believe me, I know it's not easy.

Hope those insurance claims go through quickly - you deserve a break somewhere!

Next steps can be so scary and daunting...thinking of you, and hoping the next step is the answer you've been waiting so long for.

I'd love a virtual workout buddy if you'd like one. I had really jumped in over the summer but after my m/c, stopped and have put on a few pounds too.

It sounds like you had a great weekend. That's the best way to start out the week-after a refreshing weekend!

Sorry the hag showed. Please KUP what you decide you're next step will be. We're all here to cheer you on!

I feel like we're on parallel paths right now. I also I'm trying to get my backside off the couch more often, hopefully it gets the happy juice flowing. BTW, the boxing program on Wii is a great way to get out some frustrations. And it's pretty friggin hilarious. Good luck!

Me being sick this weekend took a toll on my blog reading and commenting...I'm so sorry about this cycle. It sucks, plain and simple.
You know what's sad? My husband and I got the Wii and Wii Fit for ourselves for Christmas, and I OUTWEIGH THE BALANCE BOARD! I can't even use the damn thing until I lose weight. Talk about a kick in the teeth!
I want to say "hang in there, keep your chin up" and all that trite crap, but I won't. I'll just sit here in case you need a virtual hug. Abiding with you. :)

I definitely recommend dropping the dollars for the Wii Active game. It'll work you out like no other, that's for sure.

Many hugs to you, my friend. xoxo

Have your IUI's been unmedicated before this? Or have you used Clomid, etc? If they haven't been medicated, stimulated cycles might just do the trick! Even with women though to ovulate normally, the extra kick of the Clomid or even injectables sometimes gets things going. And certainly it will boost your chances -- and you won't have to wait to get started.

Oh, I'm getting so excited for your next step! When is your follow up? Let's get this show on the road!

(In the meantime, still sending lots of hugs and bloggy love your way).

Hugs,
Jo

It's hard to know what the next step to take is, and it's scary to move to something more advanced medically, but I know with some thought and discussions with your RE you will make the best choice for you and JD.

WiiFit is a LOT of fun, I think you'll really enjoy it!

YAY for wii! Everyone I know loves their's....hopefully it's a good exercise (everyone says it is).

Hopefully your doctor has some answers: Maybe doing a med cycle is the answer.

I'm always thinking about you guys and praying.

Jendeis, just catching some time to comment and say I am so, so sorry AF arrived (and early at that!). So devastating. All the best to you as you figure out your next steps.
