Depression, sadness, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. The pain that I am experiencing now is due to Halloween. Specifically, Halloween candy.
I did not have any candy yesterday (our building did the trick-or-treat thing last night) and have not had any so far today. Can I tell you that I am in physical pain from not eating the candy right in front of my face?!
I've been eyeing the candy and know that I would not be able to stop at 1, or 10. Maybe if I made myself sick. Nah, I'd probably eat more after I threw up.
Kay, so I haven't eaten any candy and it's killing me! Aaaaahhh!

I know what you mean. Once I start, I can't stop. Good luck!
Guilty.
Good luck! I know if I get started I won't stop.
SOOOOO impressed! Stay strong
that's some insane willpower! GO you
I deliberately don't keep sweets in the house since I am WEAK. :)

Good for you. I managed to hand out most of my candy and when I was down to three pieces I went inside and shut off the porch light so I could have them to myself.
Why not just give yourself a candy allowance?
I'm impressed! Halloween candy is evil. Those little bite sized pieces whisper "one more won't hurt". And before you know it you've eaten half the bag.
You should take all the Halloween candy with you the next time you go out and find a cute little kid and just hand it all to them. That kid will talk about that day for the rest of their lives.
Be strong!!! Happy Halloween!!
Sometimes the pain of abstaining is worse than the pain of just giving in and having one or two pieces...

Try to be a little proud of yourself? Although, the other comments have a point. If you totally deprive yourself that won't be a good thing either. Maybe on piece of your favorite?
Whatever the outcome was of your candy torture, I'm proud of you. Resisting the lure of the candy is very hard.
I differ from most others and say abstaining is actually easier than having one or two pieces. As hard as it is, I'm exactly the same as you - once I start, I don't stop.
Giving it all away to one kid is a great idea!
