Busy Busy Bee

Been working much "overtime" (in quotes, because the lovely HR people have told me that I'm exempt) due to the housing crunch, credit crisis and overall tidal waves of BS that I have to wade through each day. Did manage to fly down to Miami and help BFF move up here - yes, we drove. No, we did not die. So, it's all on the upside.

Must now go into a meeting where we will all speak rather loudly since people will agree with you more if you shout at them. Great logic folks.

Before I dash, may I urge you to turn over some of your hard-earned dollars or precious time to Team On The Road. Click on the button on my sidebar to donate and the title below it to read a beautiful article by Mel on the subject.

Thank you for your sweet comments.

I think we work at hte same place - It's much more of an efficient to speak loudly at others to get them to "understand"

Yuck, unpaid overtime. That sucks.

But hooray for getting your friend to live nearby!

I'm so cracking up at the talking loud thing. I swear they must teach that skill in bizness skool.

I resent overtime, although I resent it less if they pay me...unpaid...yuk!

And yelling just to be heard? Honestly!

I've been working by butt off lately too. I enjoy getting so much done but it is exhausting. And overtime? Rarely paid. All my extra hours get logged and charged and theoretically come back to me at some point in the form of goodwill off the books time off at my discretion.

How wonderful that your BFF is moving nearby. Mine lives 1800 miles away from me and it sucks. Thank God for e-mail and phone calls.

I just found your blog through a search for the Go Sell Crazy quote. Random stumbling and I love it. Particularly your 101 list. I have many of the same goals:)
