John Dear has resorted to asking me if I feel pregnant about every 10 minutes. He intersperses those questions with "Are you pregnant yet? Are you? Are you?" I might have to kill him.
Why is it that he doesn't understand basic biology? I am blaming it on the school system in Virginia (where he grew up and where we live now). I don't think anyone from the great state of Maryland would make these same mistakes.
For those not in the know, there's a big rivalry around the DC area as to which state is better: Maryland or Virginia. Guess where I come down?
Dizzy and nauseated (unless I'm eating), so mah nishtanah halilah hazeh mikol halailot? (why is this night different from other nights?). Going to have an acupuncture session before my yoga class tonight. Been eating well and ate a bunch of pineapple this weekend as I read somewhere that pineapple core aids implantation. Plus, I love pineapple.

LOL. I am laughing so hard.
DC is #1 then MD. Va might be teh 51st state!
BFF
My hubby asks the same bloody question all the time. I have learned that the proper Shut your mouth response is "No, I don't, but you sure look it. You should lay off the potatoe chips, skip watching the game tonight and going running" Normally shuts him up
Must ask DH. He grew up in DC and school in VA. Here's hoping the pineapple does the trick! Peace.
ICLW
For me it's my mom with the twice-daily questions. My husband's a physician, so he only notices a change in my health if I'm vomiting on the floor :) Not sure which is worse! Off to eat a pineapple...
Go team blue! Yay. One day you guys will move back up this way...
:D
My husb would drive me crazy during the TWW asking that same question! I hope those swimmers catch an egg and implant! - Ladyspade from ICLW
Yup, Mo is quite guilty of the same thing. "How are you feeling?" is a forbidden question during the 2WW as he has overdone it so many times in the past!
Hugs,
Jo
I hope you are, I hope you are, I hope you are (or will be, since implantation isn't until another day or so). :)
I'm with Kym - hoping and hoping and hoping for you.
My husband did the same thing!
If you are talking about the WHOLE state than Virginia wins hands downs...beaches, mountains, wineries, Mother of Presidents, history, etc. If you are just talking about Northern Va. well than to me they are about equal!
Lol hubbies are funny - women's biology is completely confusing for them no matter how many times you explain! Good luck with it all, sounds like you're doing many good and positive things.
I didn't know that pineapple helps with implantation... hmmmm... interesting.
Crossing everything that I can for you!
Happy ICLW!
um, mine DH is pittsburg eduated..and in the medical field none the less....When he was still delusional and thought we could get knocked up naturally- we would be picking up the clothes and cleaning up...and he was say- think your pregnant now??? LOL I WISH!!! Too bad it isn't just like popping popcorn. HUH????
lol, I'm with your DH. Are you are you? I'm excited for you and hope these next few days fly by :)
This is why I like to keep my DH as clueless as possible about the whole process. He knows almost nothing about female biology and thus feels silly asking. So he just waits for me to tell him what's up. ;)
You are much more patient than I--I think my DH would get his head snapped off if he pestered me with that question. :)
Crossing my fingers for you!
So are you huh huh?? *ducks to miss sharp objects being thrown at her head*
I'm hoping for you my friend.
