In my experience, people who haven't dealt with IF never consider it as a reason for lack of children, so they don't realize how rude/inconsiderate/hurtful they're being when they say things like that.

Yeah, my family used to live in Indonesia. There, you have about nine months after the wedding to produce a child. I am a serious failure in that entire cultures eyes. I get emails like that occasionally.
